MY BLOG!!!

I caved and finally went to the library for more than a book sale yesterday. I normally go to the library in the town where I go to school, but school's out, so I can't visit as easily. I asked if they had th new Andrew Joseph White book (they don't; it comes out in September, oops) and looked through the horror selection. They had a book on finding cryptids (Catching Cryptids: The Scientific Search For Mysterious Creatures by Kim Long) in the nonfiction section, which made me really happy. They also had a large selection of movies on sale, including a couple Nicholas Cage movies I want to add to my collection. I plan on going back today to buy the movies (and any good books or music they have on sale).
I also plan on visiting one of my brothers today (hey dude, if you're reading this!). If it isn't a gazillion degrees outside, we'll probably go to the park. I'm gonna wear something lighter than a bunch of layers of black and leather today, haha. It's hard to look this good in this weather. /j
I wish it was safe to walk around at night, honestly. It would feel so much better to go out after dark; less stares, less cars spam-honking when they drive by, less catcalls. Sounds like heaven. Granted, the reason it's safe to walk around during the day is because all those people who stare at ya are the ones who would witness someone hurting ya. Stil, guess I wish I could have the best of both worlds: basic respect and no fear of getting shot.
Regardless, I ain't gonna stop looking the way I want just because some guy in a red hat was looking at me like he finally found Mothman. It ain't my problem if some people have never seen someone with style before lol. Besides, a lot of people will brighten up if you give em a small smile and wave, just something to show you ain't a threat.
